Dalgliesh series 3 is based on P.D. James's novels and features Commander Adam Dalgliesh investigating three complex cases: a murder at a remote seminary, a murder within a wealthy, politically connected family, and a series of killings linked to a nuclear power station. The season is set in 1979, on the cusp of Thatcher's election, and is divided into three two-part stories.
